Pumpkin Ale is now available for purchase in our brewery store!
It’s available by case or 6-pack only at the moment, and we have a limited first run of only five cases. (Also of note: We will not be putting any cases on hold for anyone. This is first-come, first-serve only.)
Good luck, soldiers!

Next Tuesday is a special event at Alewerks!

On August 31, for our 3 o’clock tour, young brewer Charles will be giving our tour in a tutu. Clearly, this is an event everyone needs to attend. Bring your friends, your mother, even the slightly weird cousin you don’t usually talk to. Lets make it a party he won’t soon forget.

Also, we have determined the winners of our Traveling Growler contest. We’ll be contacting our winners and (hopefully) getting the photos up for everyone to see and enjoy. We had truly excellent submissions and want to thank everyone who participated: it was hard work choosing the winners.

Cheers!

Everyone here at Alewerks would like to say a big ‘Thank You!” to all of our customers…both those who loyally return again and again and to all those who have found us for the first time.

It is because of all of you that we have grown so much. Business is doing better than ever and we couldn’t be happier! The store is able to create new products, and Geoff can experiment with new and exciting brews for you.

It’s also because of this growth that we need to make a teeny announcement: we are no longer able to open the store outside of our hours of operation. We’re simply too busy to open our doors when we’re, well, closed. Chuck and Geoff need to concentrate on the brewing of the beer, and can’t be expected to drop that very important work. (They’re making beer. This is important work.) We have a special team of people dedicated to the running of the store, and they will always be here from Noon until 5:30, every Monday through Saturday. We simply must insist that if you want our beer (and we know you do!), you come to find us within those time limits. Who knows…if we continue to grow, we may even be able to extend our hours.

Now onto the fun news!

We’ve added special, Autographed Reserves to our line-up of excellence. These have been going fast…especially for our beer collectors out there.

Pumpkin Ale will be coming soon…and so will our tees. I’ll be announcing it here as soon as either arrive. And if you sign up on our e-mail list on your next visit, you’ll always be up-to-date on when our brews become available.

We all look forward to seeing you on the next tour, or just stopping by to fill a growler and pick up a case of your favorite ales.

Cheers!

-Miss El

This year’s first Pumpkin ale is in Fermenter #3 bubbling away. Actually is is 90% fermented. It will be bottles next week. The firs shipment will go to MBC-United in Alabama. So, all you Alabama beer lovers (AleWerks), be on the alert for it.
