Running Low on Coffehouse Stout?

January 28th, 2010

We have good news for fans of the Coffeehouse Stout, we have bottled the second batch of this winter seasonal. The Coffeehouse Stout is a milk stout with fresh roasted Guatemalan Antigua coffee added at the end of the boil. The Guatemalan Antigua coffee is lightly roasted (by Williamsburg Coffee and Tea) to give the Coffeehouse a smooth, rich taste.  Additionally, a third batch of the Coffehouse is in the fermentation tank and should be ready to be bottled in a few weeks.

Fresh six packs of the Coffeehouse are available now at the AleWerks store.  Or put your Coffeehouse in a growler, the new old way to tote your beer.

Bob and George

If you have not been by the AleWerks store in awhile we have made a lot changes to the interior, most notably the mural of George Washington currently being painted (with more to come).  Thanks again to Bob for all his artistic contributions, including the George Washington mural.

There are two sales going on at the AleWerks store.  First, growler fills are 20% off when you are using your AleWerks growler, which are available for sale at the store.

Second, cases of the Chesapeake Pale Ale are available for $10 for a limited time.

The AleWerks store is open from noon to 5:30 pm, Monday through Saturday with tours daily at 3 pm.  Tastings are available anytime the store is open.
